GETTING DOWN AND DIRTY
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION At 5 foot 7 inches and only 110 when soaking wet, Keal doesn't seem like much of a female, but what one doesn't see, one doesn't know. Under light clothing that doesn't cling, she is a very beautiful woman. Curvy and toned, she would have all eyes on her, if she showed off a bit, but that isn't Keal's style.
Like her mother before her, she has hair down to her shoulder blades. The mass of curly locks if black, flashes in the light, and is most unruly. There have been countless times Keal has thought about shortening it, but the thought of her mother, she keeps it longer for her. Her eyes flash deep brown, almost black at times. People who knew her mother before she stopped spending time in her human form and know her father, they tend to say that she looks like her mother's child more than her father's.
PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION Keal was once a wild child, always on the move and never really settling down. Though life has changed for her, taking on the responsibilities of the herd, she still has that feel about her, the one that says she really just wants to run and thunder across the land. But the love for her herd and family keeps her grounded and level headed. She doesn't take 'no' for an answer when it comes to someone trying to limit her. A strong, independent woman, that lasts about as long as it has to, then she leans on her family. Very family/herd driven, she lives for them and will do anything to help them.
LIKES Her herd, her family, school life, hard work, simple pleasures, Keal is a rather down to earth Shifter. Goal driven, she is focused and loving toward her duties, its rather sad that she's so young and so driven toward one goal.
DISLIKES Those that get in her way, stallions that think they can push her around, others who want to destroy Boendrugar. Keal won't stand for anyone who wants to stand in her way. Head-strong and driven, she won't allow others to break her down.
OTHER
HOW THEY BECAME WHAT THEY ARE Keal was born into it. She is the descendant of the original equines that drank the old king's concoctions. Her sire was once the Lead Stallion, but his death left the herd without a Lead, thus she stepped up.
ADDITIONAL HISTORY Having old equine blood in her veins, Keal is one of the few that stands in the way of those who wish Boendrugar harm. When she was born, she was one of the few rare Equine Shifters that was born in horse form. It could have had something to due with the large amount of time that her mother spent in horse form, or maybe her mother spent so much time in horse form because she was born a horse . . . who knows. Whatever the reason, her mother didn't live past her birth, and a broodmare in the herd took care of her til she could live on her own. Once she was capable of holding human form, her father raised her as a human child.
She found love for the people that passed through Boendrugar, though she was never really shown the truths outside the safe walls. It wasn't until she was almost seven that she got to see first hand that Equines could wish harm on others. Her herd was attacked, the older children that went to the school had been attacked on their way home for a break. As a child of only seven, she wasn't able to do anything. However, she did her best; when one of the Shifters tried to attack her father's back, she ran out of hiding and tried to stab the Shifter to aid her father. She was kicked in the stomach by the Shifter, broke several ribs and almost collapsed a lung. Luck was on her side that day and she lived, her ribs healed, and her father lived to fight another day.
Between the time she was born and when she hit puberty, she never shifted from human to horse. But once she hit puberty, it was like she had always been Shifting. The black horse that was like a second skin to her, could always be seen, mane and tail flowing out behind her as she ran wild and free. It wasn't until her father fell ill that she started to calm down and settle down. Once he passed away, Keal suddenly had a really big problem; there was no Lead for the Equine herd that was her family. Without a second thought, Keal stepped forward and took up the position. It wasn't the easiest change for her, but she worked it all out.
When it came time for a new year at Boendrugar, Keal didn't even hesitant to go in, taking a handful of Shifters with her. There had been rumors of Equine Shifters were out to bring down Boendrugar, but under Keal's watch, she would never allow that.
TO SEE YOU TOGETHER
RP EXAMPLE Heat lightening rolled over the sky, flashing while distant thunder boomed over head. A break in the darkness showed a large, black horse standing on a hill, with a white and black painted horse coming up behind the black The paint horse stamped a hoof once once he was standing beside the black mare and then the flesh of the paint started to ripple and within a few seconds a broad shouldered man was standing beside the black mare wearing simple clothing. "Report madam," the paint Equine Shifter almost whispered, his voice thick and husky.
The black mare's head turned, thick forelock completely covering her eyes, but the Paint knew that he was being considered, and he stood under the intense gaze. There was a gentle nod, which seemed to mean that he had passed and he quickly delivered his message. Once done, he shifted back to equine form and then turned from the mare. Once alone, the mare's flesh began to ripple and within a matter of seconds, a smaller woman was standing in the black mare's hoofprints. Her black hair hug to the middle of her back, bangs covering her eyes from view, she knelt to the ground, lifting dirt to her hand and scenting it. Before long, she was standing once more, pushing her hair from her eyes, before slipping a leather thong into it and tying it back.
Things were coming to a close, things were getting to the point where the herd would have to stand up and fight those forces that were fighting against them. It was getting very very close. She couldn't help but sigh, her head thrown back and looking up at the sky. The lightening was now overhead and the thunder was so loud. Suddenly, the sky broke and the rain drummed against the ground, the female completely soaked in a moment. This wasn't a good sign. The storm was a sign that Keal was needed at Boendrugar.
