Valerie Cyndil Martin-Kay White pages rustled in the wind as it blew around the fair-skinned figure with pale, icy blue eyes who leaned against the rock wall of the mountain-sized waterfall. It was a perfect day at Archer Falls.
For days, Valerie had wanted to visit the breathe-taking land that belonged to the oddly-normal equine just to get a good sketch of the Archer that lay etched into the wall behind the great falls. Pencil scratched across paper with quick flits of movement, and shavings flew from the eraser as she fixed every error to such a precision maybe she should have gone to the Academy to be an artist.
Lost in her world of sketch, Valerie didn't hear the footsteps that had begun to fall. She knew someone was there, but she didn't heed to how close they were, and soon she forgot about them all-together. It was just one of the kinds of days for her...
HAHA DRASTICALLY TERRIBLE!

The sound of turning pages in the wind had awoken Tyson from his sleep. It was not far away from him, maybe a few feet away at the most. The only reason with him coming here in the first place was to get away and see the sites once more.It had been years since he had last visited, and now he was having the thoughts;towards becoming a teacher or something here.He was already missing his childer back home; all of them.
Letting out a soft sigh, while in his thoughts; he sat himself up before both of his feet soon fell upon the ground once more.Tyson usually hid himself very well when going up to approach another;especially when feeding, but this was different. Her blood did not smell sweet to him at all; it was more mixed and stronger then anything else, but stalking closer towards her he then stopped as she looked up from her work.
"Here I thought that I would be alone, but I would not mind some company." Tyson smiled and then laughed softly, before he sat himself beside the girl; leaving just enough space between them.Looking out over the place surrounding them,he now knew why he had missed this place so much.

Valerie Cyndil Martin-Kay Sighing she gently eased her pencil into the binding of her drawing book, and set it to the side; looking at the creature that walked up on her personal space so confidently..Yet with such carefulness all at once.
Looks to me like I'm the one with company.
The creature had the appearance of a human, but with scented attributes that told her the truth behind his "skin." It was much like her own lie..Or disguise. Whatever you may choose to call it. The truth of it was he wasn't a human, though she could smell some part of him that did, in fact, remind her of a human's scent.
She drew her legs up to her indian-style, and rested her head on her fist, looking at her with her pale blue eyes big and curious. And she was curious, too. Everyone around here was usually nice, but he seemed kind. Maybe too kind, but for now, she didn't know yet. She looked deeper into his blue eyes; almost as if she were trying to dig into his soul, but the raven part of her own soul stopped her abruptly with a gut-feeling that said to give him the space this stranger had just permitted her.
Instead she gave question.
So, what's your name stranger?

Tyson had only nodded softly back to her words in acknowledgement, but his mind and eyes where still glued onto the surroundings around him. It was not that he was already missing the other sites and scents that he had just came from, but here the air was cleaner, and more crisp; You could almost taste it's sweet taste as you breathed it in.
He smiled softly to himself in thought, being unaware that the female had been staring him for the past few moments. Tyson did not mind being stared or looked at from either a close or long distance; it was something that he had gotten used to over time, but when she asked of his name he finally pulled himself back into reality as his own bright blue hues looked back at her."Tyson, but most call me by Ty."
Tyson smiled softly back at her, before he looked out towards the horizon. It had been a long time since he had last let himself go and just flew alone by himself for hours on end.He loved the sound of the wind rushing quickly past his ears, the thought alone had caused him to shift against the grass, while in thought. He laughed softly to himself, before he glanced back towards the female who was sitting beside him."So.What about you? A pretty face needs to come with a name." Tyson laughed mentally at that.Yes, she was pretty.

Valerie Cyndil Martin-Kay smiling politely, as politeness was always a must, she watched his every movement as he spoke; taking notes as any good student of study would. She watched him with slight amusement, as well, for he seemed just as mesmerized by his surroundings as she found herself at times. Then she noted a hint of questioning.
And to that a pretty face need be careful in these days.
Of course he'd call her pretty. The vampire in her assured her looks..While the grace of the raven within her gave her all the more beauty. The wolf within aided her mysteriousness, and of course..Her cunning.
She smiled; this time revealing her amusement, as she noted he had earlier.
For you giving your name so easily should not immediately suggest me giving mine as thus, should it, Tyson?
Valerie spoke calmly, never flinching as she portrayed her amusement in her mouth, and never her eyes. It was no foul play here. It was simply smarts. From the wisdom of her years, she learned to hold a name is sometimes to hold more over a person; whether they were human, or not. One had to know a person first, at least a little. Yet this Tyson had not passed the first test. Would he pass the rest?
I think I should get to know more about you first..Mmmm...Yesss...Let's start with...
She put a finger her lips as if she were thinking really hard, and let her eyes shine with thoughtfulness, as well.
How have you become that which you are now, Tyson. Hybrid? I smell it strongly within the blood in your veins..Yet I can't place it.
